Knitcol Cowl



2 x balls Adriafil Knitcol

60cm 4mm Circular Needle

Stitch Marker

Cast on 220 stitches, join to knit in the round and place marker.

Knit 4 rounds

Yfwd, k2tog for 3 rounds

Repeat this pattern until yarn has nearly run out, ending on a knit section.

Cast off

This pattern would be easy to adapt, for a wider cowl just use an extra ball of Knitcol!

Silkindian Lace Shawl pattern

Silk Scarf 023

Wind the skein into two equal-weight balls. This shawl is worked in two halves and joined in the middle for symmetry.

Using 3.5mm needles, loosely cast on 85 stitches and work lace pattern as follows until there is about 80cm yarn left.

Row 1: P1, *P3, K5, P4 rpt from * to end of row

Row 2 and all WS rows: P

Row 3: P2tog *P2, K2, YO, K1, YO, K2, P2, P3tog rpt from * to end of row-last rpt will be P2tog.

Row 5: P2tog *P1, K2, YO, K3, YO, K2, P1, P3tog rpt from * to end of row, last rpt will be P2tog.

Row 7: P2tog *K2, YO, K5, YO, K2, P3tog rpt from * to end of row, last rpt will be P2tog.

Row 8: P

Leave these stitches on a spare needle.

Repeat with second ball of yarn.

To join the two halves, hold the two needles together and with a third needle pick one stitch from each needle and

knit together, casting off LOOSELY across the whole row.

Block and steam for best results.

Katia Inca crochet shoulder cape


3 x 100 gr balls Katia Inca
6.5mm crochet hook (or hook size to achieve correct gauge)

Gauge: 2 3-tr groups per 10cm

66 Chain

Foundation row:
3 treble into the third chain from hook, 1 chain
* miss 2 chain, 3 treble in next chain, 1 chain. Repeat from * to end, turn (22, 3-treble clusters)

Row 1
3 chain, *3 treble in first chain space between 2 clusters, 1 chain, repeat from * , then 3 treble in top of final treble of previous row, turn.

Repeat Row 1 until garment is required size.

Make chain loop at right-hand neck edge
Fix button/toggle to left neck edge.

Tip: measure the initial length of chain against shoulders and increase or decrease length to fit. If your tension is tight, you may need to increase the length slightly to fit or use a larger hook.
